Donor Engine for Prototype

Mutable Motors' Pneumatic Valve Actuating System is designed around 3 valves per cylinder.  This engine comes from Ford with 3 valves per cylinder. Now I just have to replace the heads (seems kind of unnecessary?), the problem is I have to convert it to pneumatic and dual fuel injection (direct and port, coincidentally like the new Coyote -- although this has been part of the plan for over a decade), too many changes to use the old heads.

Why not just use this engine?

Sure, it's a Koenigsegg 600 hp 3-cylinder with Free Valve pneumatic valve actuation, what's not to love? I don't have one, can't afford one, and it's just a different direction. Great engine, don't get me wrong. Oh, and I think I can get lower emissions with a less expensive solution! Yeah, I could get more horsepower with turbos, but I'm going NA.

Or go all electric?

Some people are excited about electric cars.  There are plenty of good things to say: they're fast, comfortable, and cheap to operate.  Oh, and eventually they may prove good for the environment.  I'm not out to somehow stop anyone from switching to electric, but on the next page I'll try and show why it will take a bigger effort to reduce gasoline powered vehicle emissions before those electric cars can make a real difference.  I'm just trying to plug that gap.
